Inadine PVP-I Non-Adherent Dressing is a specialized wound dressing made of a low adherent knitted viscose fabric. It is impregnated with a polyethylene glycol (PEG) base that contains 10% Povidone Iodine, which is equivalent to 1.0% available iodine. Iodine is a highly effective antimicrobial agent that has been used for over 170 years in the treatment of wounds. It has a broad spectrum of activity against various microorganisms, including bacteria, fungi, protozoa, and viruses. Inadine utilizes the antimicrobial properties of Povidone Iodine (PVP-I) to help prevent and treat infections in wounds.
